Included: core, plugin and dependency updates, daily backups held off the server, uptime monitoring, fault fixing, and content changes within the hours your plan allows. Excluded: building new features, redesigning pages, writing marketing copy and running advertising campaigns. Those are quoted separately and deliberately so, because bundling them into a monthly fee means paying every month for work you consume once a year. The boundary is written into the agreement rather than left to interpretation, which is what makes it possible to compare our plan against another supplier on equal terms instead of comparing two different definitions of the word maintenance.

Yes, and it is a large part of the work. It starts with a survey: what the site is built on, which versions are running, what state the backups are in and what is already broken. Then we recover access to hosting, domain, DNS and connected systems, document the current state and settle ownership formally - which matters most in the common case where the previous developer has disappeared, nobody has the code, and the domain is registered to someone who no longer answers email. Once that is resolved the site enters the normal maintenance cycle. We will tell you honestly if a site is too far gone to maintain economically and a rebuild would cost less.

Maintenance is proactive and scheduled: updates, backups and monitoring that happen on a fixed cycle whether or not anything has gone wrong. Support is reactive - you get in touch when something breaks, and it is usually billed by the hour or by the call. A business buying support alone pays less in an ordinary month and more in the month something happens, and crucially nobody prevented the fault in the first place. In our plans the scheduled work is covered by the monthly price, alongside an allowance of hours for changes; work beyond that allowance is quoted separately and in advance rather than appearing on the invoice as a surprise. That is also why we publish what is included and what is not - so you can compare us with another supplier on the same terms.

On the Basic plan, within 24 business hours. On the Business plan, within 4 business hours. A fault that takes the site down entirely is treated as top priority on every plan regardless of tier. Both the response time and the fix time are written into the agreement rather than left as a verbal assurance, which means you have something to point at when it matters. This is worth checking against any competing quote you receive: many maintenance contracts specify a monthly price and a list of tasks but never state how quickly anyone is obliged to answer when the site stops working.

On the Business plan and above, yes - a quarterly check. This matters because accessibility is not a fixed state that a site reaches once and keeps. Adding an image without alternative text, changing a button colour so contrast drops below the required ratio, or embedding a third-party widget that traps keyboard focus can each break compliance that was previously in place. A one-off audit describes the site on the day it was performed and nothing after that. Israeli businesses are legally required to meet IS 5568, and the exposure sits with the site owner rather than with whoever built it, so treating accessibility as a recurring maintenance item rather than a launch task is the safer position.

This is one of the quietest and most expensive failures a site can have: the connection to Green Invoice, iCount or the card clearing provider stops working, orders keep arriving, and no invoice is generated for any of them. Nothing on the site looks broken, so it is often found weeks later by an accountant rather than immediately by a customer. The plans run on an annual term, because maintenance is measured over time rather than in a single month - the value of an update cycle and a backup regime only shows up when something eventually goes wrong. At the end of the term you are free not to renew, and you receive every access credential, all backups and the full documentation when you leave. The site is yours regardless of whether we continue working together, and nothing in the arrangement is designed to make leaving difficult or to leave you dependent on us for access to your own infrastructure.
