In most cases yes. We start with a code review that checks what already works, what is fragile and what has to be rewritten, and we show you the picture before you commit. Code generated by AI tools is usually a useful base: the screens and the flow exist, but it typically lacks proper user authentication, error handling, tests and a structure that can keep growing. If the base is stable we build on it, and if not we replace only the problem parts. We recommend a full rebuild only when it costs less than repairing what is there, and we say so openly.

The review covers what puts a real business at risk: API keys and secrets left in the code or on the client side, login and permissions, row level security (RLS) in the database, input validation, file uploads, exposure of personal data and dependencies with known vulnerabilities. You receive findings ranked by severity and a note of what was fixed in each. AI-generated code often leaves a database readable by anyone who knows how to ask for the data, which is why this is the first step. If the app holds personal data we also account for the principles of Amendment 13 to the Privacy Protection Law.

The time depends on the size and condition of the code, not on the number of screens. After the review you get a work list in priority order with a schedule for each stage: security and database, payments and login, deployment, performance, Hebrew and accessibility. What stretches a project is third-party accounts that are not yet opened, business decisions not yet made and the number of integrations. We launch in stages, first a staging environment and then the live site, so it is possible to return to an earlier version. A proposal with dates comes after the review, not before it.

We work on any stack and do not require you to move to our technology. Projects that come from Lovable, Bolt, v0, Replit, Cursor or Base44 are usually built on React or Next.js with Supabase or Firebase as the back end, and we continue with them as they are. If there is a good reason to replace a component, for example a database that will not suit growth, we present the reason in writing together with the alternatives and wait for your decision. The code stays in your repository and your accounts, so any other developer can pick it up later.

AI tools usually produce a left-to-right interface with English fonts and dates. We check every screen right to left, fix the direction of forms, icons and tables, add a Hebrew font and adapt the format of dates, currency and numbers. We also check accessibility under IS 5568 and SEO: headings, descriptions, sitemap, load speed and the share preview. An app built as a single page rendered on the client is not always crawled well by Google, so we also check server-side rendering and fix it where the pages need to appear in search results. Both are easy to miss when the screen looks fine in the browser.

The code, the Git repository, the database and the domain stay in your ownership. At the end you receive short documentation, an explanation of the deployment and of the secret variables, and the option to continue with us on maintenance: monitoring, security updates, backups and bug fixes. You can also stop after the handover and carry on alone or with your AI tools, and the code will be tidy enough to do so safely. Building new features is quoted separately after a short specification, so that the scope of each piece of work is clear before it starts. You decide what comes next.
